Sometimes even mad
Red is the color of my middle son's hair
Red represents the love that I share

I'm just wild about red!

My favorite color is red. All shades of red, all hues of red, all combinations of red.

About Me

Hummm, about me- where do I start. With my name, I suppose, which is Marilee. It's not a common name but a pretty one (or so I have been told). I have read that a name can actually become a label on a person, affecting how he/she is preceived by another. I believe this could be true. When I was a heavy person I would tell people they could remember my name by reciting "merrily we roll along". Now that I am a thinner person, I find myself reciting "merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream". I guess I am guilty of labeling myself!

I also label myself as wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend; all of which I am proud to wear. Other labels I have worn in the past would be Child Care Provider, Medical Secretary, Interior Designer, Executive Assistant to a VIP, and Restaurant Owner. Least I not forget to add- volunteer, care giver, substitute mother and Fairy Godmother!

All of my labels don't define who I am, but have contributed to my person in profound ways. Now I begin the quest of finding the person who lies beneath the labels and I am inviting you to join me along the way.

I will still keep you updated on My Little Red House and my love for all things red, along with a some new ventures I have begun. I hope you will enjoy reading about my life as much as I enjoy living it.
